Healthy Breakfast Pancakes

Who doesn't love pancakes!? With this recipe indulge yourself in delicious pancakes without feeling too guilty about it. Check out my Instagram Story Highlight to see a step by step on how to make these.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes
Total Time: 15-20 minutes
Ingredients:
• 1 cup oats
• 2/3 cup milk
• 1 banana
• 2-3 tsp maple / pancake syrup
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2/3 tsp baking powder
• 2-3 tbsp butter
Tools:
• Blender
• Pan
Method:
1. Add the oats to a blender and blend until the oats turn to powder.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients (except butter) in the blender and blend until a smooth batter is formed.
3. Turn the heat on and place you pan on it. Let the pan heat well before you start cooking the pancakes.
4. Add some butter on the pan and spread it around.
5. Put a good amount of the pancake batter on the pan. Once you start seeing bubbles on the perimeter of the pancake, flip it around. Cook for another minute and transfer to a plate.
6. Top the pancakes with fresh cut fruits and maple syrup and you’re done!
NOTE: These pancakes aren’t as sweet by themselves as a regular pancake. If you prefer sweeter pancakes you can add some sugar to the batter while blending all the ingredients.
